The Healing Power Of Touch – The Many Ways Physical Contact Can Cure by Karin Sullivan is an encyclopedia – albeit a small one – outlining the various ways that healing can be brought about through touch.

Sullivan begins by examining data which shows how powerful human touch can be.

From there the book is essentially split into two parts.

The first part of the book examines the vast array of touch therapies available to individuals.  Granted, given the wide-array of therapies discussed, the author gives each therapy a very cursory but reasonable overview.  Within these therapies discussed, some of the ones mentioned are: acupressure, reflexology, reiki, shiatsu, chiropractic, ayurvedic massage, aromatherapy massage, applied kinesiology, myofascial release, and much more.

From there on, the second part of the book focuses on specific conditions.  These conditions, which number at least 50 in the book, include many major diseases.  Each of these lists various of the therapies which were known at the time to work.  Some of these conditions included diabetes, depression, insomnia, headaches, hypertension, colitis, cancer, burns, bronchitis, bone spurs, sinusitis, shoulder pain, sciatica, pregnancy discomfort, Parkinson’s disease, nausea and vomiting, cancer, asthma, arthritis, and more.

One thing to keep in mind is that the information provided within the book was published in 1998.  Since then there has been increasing evidence and studies that showcase the many benefits of many of the alternative therapies mentioned in the book.  How many studies have been conducted really depends on which therapy is covered, but the fact remains that the benefits have helped many.

Alternative therapies have been growing immensely over the years and it is now a multibillion dollar industry.  This goes to show people are attempting to get away, and rightly so, from regular for-every-ill-there-is-a-pill mindset of BigPharma.  Books like this one help show what’s available for individuals, even if the book is slightly dated.

Regardless, the book can serve as a small encyclopedia, or as a jump-off point from where the individual may research further any of these topics.  Given that there are no side-effects for these therapies, they should at minimum be considered, if not downright researched thoroughly for individuals who have disease, or wish to stay in a health state of being.

Quantum Healing – Exploring The Frontiers Of Mind-Body Medicine by Deepak Chopra, M.D. is fascinating foray into the fusion of the mind and the body in respect to the healing possibilities to be had.

Chopra sifts through some studies, as well as uses examples known to him to showcase that the power of the mind is vital in healing.  In fact, in some cases it could be said to be the main driver in someone’s ability to heal.

Although this particular book was published over two decades ago, the information still holds as true now as it did back then.  Serendipitously, more and more studies have come about showing the inherent link between the mind and body and how that can play a crucial role in the art of healing.

Unfortunately, the opposite is also true.  While the author doesn’t discuss this, it has been discussed elsewhere however.  Individuals that allow their thoughts to err into more detrimental  states can set themselves up for failure at the outset.  Or sometimes, doctors will tell people that “they can’t be cured” as happens to so many, and people run with those beliefs [and they are beliefs, because this has been proven wrong a lot more than people realize, and am a living example of this myself] all the way beyond the cliff’s edge.  But don’t take my word for it.  Do your own research.

One of my favorite parts of the book, although not explored at length, was delving into the power of meditation.  As some of you may know, meditation has outstanding healing powers, and it has helped me in conquering disease.  It wasn’t used by itself however, but it was an integral component in my healing repertoire and will always will be part of my life.  Let’s digress, though.

In its totality, the book was good, but not great.  If you’ve researched this subject the book won’t have a lot that you probably won’t know, or have already come to the conclusion too yourself.  If you haven’t however, this book features information that should be pondered deeply by society, for its implications spawn at warp speed and its ramifications are deep in scope.

As a side note, a new revised and updated version is available.  Although haven’t read it myself, it might be a decent jump-off point for individuals seeking additional information.

Regardless, please keep in mind, the thoughts we ultimately fill our minds with ultimately may grow into healing, or disease if we are not careful.

Eat To Beat Disease – Food’s Medicinal Qualities by Catherine J. Frompovich is a phenomenal foray into the alternative side of health.  Specifically, the alternative side to medicinal properties of foods.

Although that statement might seem rather foreign to those who follow only mainstream health, in fact it’s not.  According to a recent article on NaturalNews, as much as 80% of the known world still uses ancient medicines made from Plants & Botanicals.  Sure, this book deals with food, but both this book and the article deal with natural medicine that the mainstream establishment doesn’t even acknowledge most of the time, if at all.

Eat To Beat Disease is a significant book that features an extensive and in-depth look into the pros and cons of many foods people have in their daily diets.

Speaking of toxins, Frompovich gets to the heart of the matter as she states:

“…there are literally thousands of toxic chemicals that legally can be – and are – placed into the food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe.  Furthermore, even the U.S. Food and Drug Administration doesn’t know what some of those chemicals are thanks to the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 loopholes!”[1][xxvi]

Such is the nature of the beast we as a society face.

In fact, Frompovich goes out of her way to show a rather intriguing, if troubling timeline of the extensive poisoning that our supply has been under for nigh 150 years [if not longer].  This is helpful because it speaks at length of the issue of our deteriorating soil and the fact that vitamins and minerals are being depleted from the soul due to the events discussed and more.

Other issues discussed by Frompovich included those with prescription drugs, the rampant rise in disease, health issues that are trending, as well as issues with intestines and bowel movements.   The author touches upon these rather saliently showing why each is vital to know about.

Probiotics/Prebiotics are also given a cursory glance, so are artificial sweeteners and their ramifications, as well as issues that revolve around sugar, which is a rather underreported topic by the mainstream establishment.   It’s quite unfortunate, because sugar is one of the biggest fuels in cancer, and most people do not know this.

In any case, Frompovich also covers foods that can help reduce pain, which was rather useful.  As someone who suffered heavily from inflammation for nigh two decades due to intestinal conditions but overcame it with diet and lifestyle changes, dealing with pain in a natural way is something greatly appreciated.

A short section, but jam-packed with info in the book is called “Which Foods Help The Body Most In Managing Certain Diseases”.  This section touches upon some of the foods that are helpful in combating issues with blood pressure, cancer, cholesterol, diabetes, heart, the immune system, and stroke.

Other health issues that Frompovich gives a fair nod to are Gallbladder [Disease & Stones], Hypothyroidism, Glaucoma & Obesity & Weight Loss.

Additionally, the book includes a chapter that touches upon HPV Vaccine Reactions and what individuals can do when implementing proper nutrition.  This might be highly helpful for individuals that have dealt with this.

Thereafter, the author covers the importance of B-Complex Vitamin, benefits of fermented foods, and also problems with genetically modified foods which are rampant these days.

Featured also in the book are countless resources that people can use to learn more information about these subjects.  This was also highly valuable given the importance of the subject.

Besides all of this, the author covers so much more.  In all fairness, a few sections of the book are not super in-depth, BUT, this is because the author is taking a broad brush approach to cover as much as possible within the arena of nutritional health.  The information provided does give enough of a launching pad for individuals to begin taking charge of their health, which is one of the premises of this book.  That fact does in no way detract from the book, it’s just something to keep note of.

One more important point.  The author – thankfully! – footnoted the book extensively, which is how ALL books should be done, at the bottom of each page, like it used to be done in olden times.

Unfortunately, newer footnoting techniques have changed extensively from how books were written centuries ago.  This in a way serves as de facto censorship of data and prevents people from accessing information by either making it harder to find, or simply not even having it in many cases.  The fact that many ebooks, if not most don’t even have footnotes speaks to this VERY issue, which is vital importance, especially for those who value knowledge and research.

Apologies for the tangent, it’s just that as a researcher its highly valuable when people footnote their sources within their book, or articles.

Eat To Beat Disease is a veritable template for the many ways individuals can employ nutrition to conquer disease.  It’s the type of book that should be discussed at length in society, and by the mainstream press, but will not any coverage due to the ramifications and the profits it would ‘steal’ from Big Pharma/Big Medica.  That fact alone should make proactive and mindful individuals weary since optimal health methods should be something to strive for, or at least discuss, and not something to overlook if not downright suppress, which is what happens more often than not.

This blacklisting is best exemplified by what took place to Dr. Brogan in her landmark book A Mind Of Your Own – The Truth About Depression.

When one keeps in mind the above constellation of facts and more, this book is invaluable and should become part of your library.

Book Review: Wars Of The Anunnaki – Nuclear Self-Destruction In Ancient Sumer by Chris H. Hardy Ph.D

Wars Of The Anunnaki by Chris H. Hardy Ph.D. is a masterly analysis of part of the hidden history that’s been kept from humanity.  If you have read Hardy’s previous work, DNA Of The Gods, you will undoubtedly love this piece.

The author’s main premise is that many thousands of years ago an ancient war took place in our planet with advanced weapons.  An ancient war that involved nuclear weapons during part of the pyramid wars.  To buttress this premise the author highlights various locales that were targets within the ancient war such as Sodom, Gomorrah.  Further, Hardy uses sources such as texts like the Nippur Lament, and the Hindu Mahabharata and many others to make her case as sound as possible.

The author also notes that lunatic Nergal, with the support of Enlil and more, made it a point of using at minimum 7 nukes to lay waste to those that wish to follow their own path and are deemed inferior to the “gods”.

As Hardy mentions, Enki, one of the ‘Gods’, voiced concern over the use of these Awesome Weapons:

“…the lands would make desolate, the people will make perish.”[sic][1]

Another intriguing detail is that of the Sinai plain, where the author suspects there’s evidence of nuclear weapons use.  The author mentions Zecharia Sitchin’s thoughts on the matter:

“Sitchin attests that the Sinai plain shows an enormous elongated scar, visible from the sky alone, and blackened as if by an immense heat: “The great place ( the spaceport and launching strips in the plain) was never to be seen again…but the scare made in the face of the earth that awesome day can still be seen to this very day”.[2]

For those skeptical of the author’s claims, it’s important to note that the claims are not just stated because of the translations of tablets/texts.  Hardy also uses other intriguing information such as the fact that the places where nuclear weapons might have been used rarely, if ever, have meteor craters.  This is vital because this is one of the main ‘facts’ paraded by the establishment, but holds no credence whatsoever.

Furthermore, as the author saliently states:

“The Libyan Desert Glass (so hard and so pure it is used to make blades), comes from hundreds of square kilometers of glass sheets and shards in the Great Sand Sea in western Egypt, strewn in two large spots.  Given the very explicit accounts we have from ancient texts, we certainly cannot avoid the much more plausible (and rational) explanations implying nuclear or other powerful weapons used in very ancient warfare. ”

As if that were not enough, the author homes in on the vitrified remains of the ziggurat at Birs Nimrod (Borsippa).  Taking into account some of David Childress’ information from Technology of the Gods:

“The ruins crowned by a mass of vitrified brickwork, actual clay bricks fused together by intense heat.”[3]

Which is quite synchronistic.  Why?  Because as ancient texts show:

“Borsippa was the city of Nabu, son of Marduk, and both were targets of the war that lead to the nuking of the Jordan plain.”[P4]

What a coincidence…

Moving on, although certainly a notable part of the story, this book by Hardy isn’t just about Nuclear Weapons.

Throughout the book Hardy focuses greatly on a comprehensive detailed analysis of ancient texts in order to narrow down what took place with the Anunnaki leadership which lead to such ancient devastation . Not only that, but the author also uses Semantics Field Theory [SFT] in order to analyze in depth much of the information that’s been taken as matter-of-fact regarding The Book [the Bible] in relation to ancient history, and does a convincing case of outlining how there were various narrators that were responsible for different layers within it.

Hardy’s cognizant of how The Book has played an integral part – for better and worse – to mold the type of society we live in.  Knowing this, she’s made it a point to make sure her interpretation is as correct as possible given how much trauma has been spawned from ancient dogma that was blindly followed and rarely questioned.

From the role the Anunnaki played in bringing about civilization, to how the development of humanity was subverted by Enlil and his kith and kin, to the psychological impact humanity has dealt with due to the institutional dogma that’s been passed down authoritatively, the author attempts to leave no stone unturned in her quest for what ancient history really was.

As an open-minded skeptic, am very appreciative of her work because regardless of what one thinks of it, its sourced to the hilt, and its rather reasonable given the enormous body of data that keeps growing to buttress the fact that something intriguing and very nefarious did take place in our ancient history.

Wars Of The Anunnaki
offers an apt description of what possibly could have taken place given the wide amount of evidence that keeps being unearthed.  Couple with the author’s relentless search for truth, and her quite wide-ranging and yet incisive questions throughout the tome, the book offers a solid foundation for the possibility of ancient wars in humanity’s past.

If only a fraction of what the author attests is true, then ancient history as we know it is vastly different than what the conventional establishment would have you believe.  And the more time passes, the more it appears that this is not only possible, but very likely.  The fact that the author’s approach is sound, rational and methodical makes this book that much more thought-provoking.

This is the type of book whose data should be openly debated in the mainstream, but never will be.  That being the case, it’s up to inquiring individuals to educate themselves into the possibilities that the mainstream establishment will not touch, and this book sets out to do just that, educate individuals into a large part of our missing history that’s in great part responsible for how society is today.

Book Review: Phantom Self by David Icke

David Icke is surely a controversial speaker.

Icke’s work has come to be known as fascinating as it is wide-ranging, and for good reason.   The man will leave no stone unturned.  He’s not afraid of heading into places other people can’t even fathom, and many have come to appreciate this.

In Phantom Self, David Icke does a resounding job of not only showing various methods the system employs to carve out the consciousness from individuals, but he also shows the numerous facets the system has that play a role in making this process possible.

Throughout the book, Icke makes it a point from differentiating that we have two selves, the more superficial version of us that goes through life unaware of the deeper structure of life and reality, and the deeper level of conscious awareness that holds our unending potential, which is rarely tapped by individual.

Phantom Self showcases some of the previous information that Icke has shown, with good reason.  Much of this information is just as vital now, if not more so, as it was in the past.  And things have only gotten worse globally.

Readers of his previous work will be familiar with some of it.  Still, the information that Icke provides and how he distills it is vital to understanding how individuals and society will shed its shackles from the control grid as long as they take the appropriate action.

Issues such as education, media manipulation, propaganda, technology, genetically modified foods, bloodlines, depopulation/eugenics, Agenda 21/Agenda 2030, weather modification, et al are addressed quite extensively throughout.  The push for a transhumanistic future is also saliently detailed by the author.

As an avid researcher, my one qualm with the book is that Icke doesn’t source all of his statements.  He does provide quite a few sources, but a lot of the information that he writes as ‘matter of fact’ would be much stronger if he at least buttressed those statements with how he came to those conclusions.  There’s nothing wrong with giving your opinions about a matter, and they surely might be facts mind you, however, in order for some people to visualize the extent of control and corruption they will need to see a roadmap.  A roadmap is made up of those signposts, and those signposts in research are sources.

Be that as it may, that last fact doesn’t detract from the book.  Phanton Self provides more than ample information for it to be worth one’s money.

How icke chose to conclude the book resonates quite well, and certainly makes a lot of sense.

Its through individual self awareness and realization of our deeper conscious state that we as individuals will be able to see that we are the solution to the system.

Aggression will not be the solution to overturning the system.  In fact, the opposite is the case.  The system is ready for aggression in more ways than most realize.  Once we realize the depth of the power of our true selves – the power of the love for another – we will be able to detach ourselves from the meaningless and head on a new path.

The system will be changed only by people removing their support from it in every way shape or form.  Then, and only then will we be able to birth a new process and reign in the beginnings on the morrow.

As Ghandi once said:

“You assist an evil system most effectively by obeying its orders and decrees.  An evil system never deserves such allegiance.  Allegiance to it means partaking of this evil.  A good person will resist an evil system with his or her own soul.”

Book Review: Gut And Psychology Syndrome by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride MD

There are many reviews out there in respect to this book Gut And Psychology Syndrome by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride MD. Within these there’s a kaleidoscope of different point of views in respect to what their personal opinions/anecdotes have been.

One thing that one particular individual stated that the tone of the book seemed like the author offered a ‘miracle’ cure.   That was never something that seemed for me to be the case.  A treatment, by definition, is not a cure.  If after conquering whatever disease it might be, if an individual opts to stop this ‘treatment’ its very likely that disease will crop up once more.

Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride grounds the data provided in this book with an overwhelming amount of scientific evidence. Anyone looking for quick ‘miracles’ is sadly mistaken.

This book can help people, but its hard work – a lot of hard work. There are no guarantees however.

The human body is a constellations of systems within systems all performing a synergistic dance that makes us who we are. When portions of this system is out of balance – even just one ­aspect – there can be quite the detrimental side effects thereafter.

Given that, this book has helped a large amount of people that have opted to follow the diet/data provided here.

The data information provided in this book, especially when coupled with ‘The Paleo Approach’ By Sarah Balantyne Ph.D. helped me immensely.

Am just mentioning Balantyne’s book for those looking for more research into diet and how that can help one overcome [or at least move into the right direction] the countless diseases plaguing individuals nowadays.

As a person who has had Ulcerative Colitis, a sound diet has been a life saver for me, literally. This hasn’t come easy.

The title of this book doesn’t mention UC outright, however, the disease is definitely mentioned in the book, and more importantly, the issue of ‘leaky gut’ is tackled rather incisively. This is important because gut issues are present in all unhealthy people. When you look at disease from this angle, there is a lot of knowledge to be had for those seeking to why dis-ease is as wide spread as it is, as well as what are some of the things one can do to begin moving forward.

Getting back to a previous point, the diet component is not easy. It is possible however. If such wasn’t the case, so many people wouldn’t be giving this particular review and sharing anecdotal data of their successes and such.

For me personally, the sugar component was the hardest thing to overcome. Overcoming this factor is absolutely imperative for people to overcome if one wants regain their health.

Sugar is absolutely widespread in our culture these days, and it causes way more problems that can be listed here. As Campbell-Mcbride elucidates the average western person consumes about 160-200 lbs of sugar a year. Not only that, but sugar itself fuels Candida, and worse, cancer. And that’s just one component in the diet. The author mentions countless ones that cause deleterious issues.

Its important to know what causes dis-ease in our modern society, and this book does a particularly poignant job in shedding light into many confusing aspects of diet.

This book had been recommended to me years ago, and made the mistake of not getting it. If you have been interested in this book, don’t make the same mistake that was done by me. If you’re already here, you’ve probably heard of the work done by the author and whatnot, and are familiar with some of the progress that has taken place by people that have been willing to approach this with an open mind.

After being hospitalized countless times [almost every other year [and sometimes consecutive years ongoing] for many years and sometimes staying for weeks], and having been out of remission with UC for years at a time, something had to be done.

The solutions outlined by doctors were just not cutting it for me. Nothing was working. This was why it was easy to realize that big changes had to be implemented if a healthy life was going to be attainable for me again.

This book by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, as well as Balantyne’s book The Paleo Approach were very instrumental in me regaining my health. There are many options out there. Am just putting light to the information in hopes that perhaps in the future this help can help others as its helped me.

This is just speaking from personal experience. Take that for what it’s worth.

Topics such as the gut, the immune system, gut flora [and all its components] as well as even the gut-brain connection are all written about quite well. Toxins of all kinds are also broken down so to speak.

Within the recommended diet portion of the book, the most important and beneficial dietary changes that can be had are spoken about at length, as well as the top influences that help the immune system, as well as the ones that damage it, are also touched upon.

There really is a lot of vital information to be had by this book. The strength of it lies in how it allows the reader to realize the importance of gut health is, given the little amount of information coming out from the medical establishment.

In any case, there is extensive information for people whether they are at a beginner level, or come from a more experienced area in relation to these topics.

This is the type of information you wish everyone within the medical fields [and all education for that matter] were exposed too. That’s fantasy thinking however.

In the real world, the individual needs to do everything he can to regain their health, and its their responsibility to do that. This book helps you along that journey.

As mentioned before, a mistake was made by me years ago in not getting the book when it was extremely recommended by a dear friend of mine who had many health issues they conquered. Don’t make the same mistake.

If you’re interested, by all means go ahead. You will not regret it.

For me, this book has been a life changer. As someone who has had chronic Ulcerative Colitis for almost twenty years & am barely in my thirties, hospitalized countless times, this book is a godsend. This is due to the many benefits my health as accrued from implementing much of the advice within this book.

As a side note, the evolution of my health progression with UC went something like this: clean fluoride-free water > removal of toxins [aspartame, nitrates, soy, msg.] from dietary choices > removal of all fast foods > removal of processed foods > switching to organic/non-gmo nutrient-dense foods > gluten-free / paleo approach.

That’s just what helped me. We are all different, so different people will benefit at varying degrees. Am just sharing what helped me in order for it to possibly help others.

Now let’s dive in, shall we?

The Paleo Approach – Reverse Autoimmune Disease And Heal Your Body by Sarah Ballantyne, PhD is an absolute tour de force into regaining your health, with a top-down approach that is as extensive as it is deep in scope.

Although a great length of the book almost has a textbook feel, it is that very precision that shows how exact and thorough Ballantyne’s approach is. She details every aspect of the Paleo Diet discipline [if we may call it that] in a manner that is not just easy to follow, but simple to comprehend.

Ballantyne commences with many of the causes for autoimmune diseases as well as what contributes to those type of health complications/diseases. Thence she couples that along with lifestyle changes that could be contributing to the cause of your dis-ease.

Personally, this is the type of book that should be mandatory reading for everyone in High School, let alone college. The previous statement does not mean that this is the only approach, however.   There are many [dietary] approaches that can and have helped people. A few of these different approaches helped me at varying degrees, the paleo approach being the last anchor that has solidified my health.

Knowledge is imperative in our day an age. That is why nutrition and diet should be an integral component in everyone’s lives. Am saying this to outline the fact that the public school indoctrination system does nothing remotely substantial to address the lack of health knowledge in basic schooling. Then again they do the same with finance & logic, all three of which would help individuals greatly in attaining health, financial versatility and a range of analysis that is sorely needed in the world we live in.

Getting back on track, Ballantyne makes it a point in stating and restating the fact that diet alone cannot help an individual if that individual is still making poor lifestyle choices. While this might seem ‘common sense’ to some, it isn’t. Countless people believe that if they just change their diet, while not addressing other vital [and just as detrimental] issues, all will be okay. Nothing can be further from the truth.

Stress, for instance, causes deleterious issues to those that do not address this common problem.   Ballantyne addresses the stress topic rather poignantly, outlining many solid approaches that have helped many, myself included.

Ballantyne also dovetails into the importance of sleep, which is such an underrated component to health [and thus healing!], as well as not remaining physically stagnant. Moving, doing exercises, heck WALKING outside, all have great benefits. Don’t forget getting ample amounts of sun, for a variety of reasons.

Other issues that are addressed rather trenchantly within this book are the issue of gluten sensitivity [this one affected me greatly] in relation to autoimmune disease and how it affects the intestines, as well as the issue of gut dysbiosis, what it is and how it is caused.
