Eat To Beat Disease – Food’s Medicinal Qualities by Catherine J. Frompovich is a phenomenal foray into the alternative side of health.  Specifically, the alternative side to medicinal properties of foods.

Although that statement might seem rather foreign to those who follow only mainstream health, in fact it’s not.  According to a recent article on NaturalNews, as much as 80% of the known world still uses ancient medicines made from Plants & Botanicals.  Sure, this book deals with food, but both this book and the article deal with natural medicine that the mainstream establishment doesn’t even acknowledge most of the time, if at all.

Eat To Beat Disease is a significant book that features an extensive and in-depth look into the pros and cons of many foods people have in their daily diets.

Speaking of toxins, Frompovich gets to the heart of the matter as she states:

“…there are literally thousands of toxic chemicals that legally can be – and are – placed into the food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe.  Furthermore, even the U.S. Food and Drug Administration doesn’t know what some of those chemicals are thanks to the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 loopholes!”[1][xxvi]

Such is the nature of the beast we as a society face.

In fact, Frompovich goes out of her way to show a rather intriguing, if troubling timeline of the extensive poisoning that our supply has been under for nigh 150 years [if not longer].  This is helpful because it speaks at length of the issue of our deteriorating soil and the fact that vitamins and minerals are being depleted from the soul due to the events discussed and more.

Other issues discussed by Frompovich included those with prescription drugs, the rampant rise in disease, health issues that are trending, as well as issues with intestines and bowel movements.   The author touches upon these rather saliently showing why each is vital to know about.

Probiotics/Prebiotics are also given a cursory glance, so are artificial sweeteners and their ramifications, as well as issues that revolve around sugar, which is a rather underreported topic by the mainstream establishment.   It’s quite unfortunate, because sugar is one of the biggest fuels in cancer, and most people do not know this.

In any case, Frompovich also covers foods that can help reduce pain, which was rather useful.  As someone who suffered heavily from inflammation for nigh two decades due to intestinal conditions but overcame it with diet and lifestyle changes, dealing with pain in a natural way is something greatly appreciated.

A short section, but jam-packed with info in the book is called “Which Foods Help The Body Most In Managing Certain Diseases”.  This section touches upon some of the foods that are helpful in combating issues with blood pressure, cancer, cholesterol, diabetes, heart, the immune system, and stroke.

Other health issues that Frompovich gives a fair nod to are Gallbladder [Disease & Stones], Hypothyroidism, Glaucoma & Obesity & Weight Loss.

Additionally, the book includes a chapter that touches upon HPV Vaccine Reactions and what individuals can do when implementing proper nutrition.  This might be highly helpful for individuals that have dealt with this.

Thereafter, the author covers the importance of B-Complex Vitamin, benefits of fermented foods, and also problems with genetically modified foods which are rampant these days.

Featured also in the book are countless resources that people can use to learn more information about these subjects.  This was also highly valuable given the importance of the subject.

Besides all of this, the author covers so much more.  In all fairness, a few sections of the book are not super in-depth, BUT, this is because the author is taking a broad brush approach to cover as much as possible within the arena of nutritional health.  The information provided does give enough of a launching pad for individuals to begin taking charge of their health, which is one of the premises of this book.  That fact does in no way detract from the book, it’s just something to keep note of.

One more important point.  The author – thankfully! – footnoted the book extensively, which is how ALL books should be done, at the bottom of each page, like it used to be done in olden times.

Unfortunately, newer footnoting techniques have changed extensively from how books were written centuries ago.  This in a way serves as de facto censorship of data and prevents people from accessing information by either making it harder to find, or simply not even having it in many cases.  The fact that many ebooks, if not most don’t even have footnotes speaks to this VERY issue, which is vital importance, especially for those who value knowledge and research.

Apologies for the tangent, it’s just that as a researcher its highly valuable when people footnote their sources within their book, or articles.

Eat To Beat Disease is a veritable template for the many ways individuals can employ nutrition to conquer disease.  It’s the type of book that should be discussed at length in society, and by the mainstream press, but will not any coverage due to the ramifications and the profits it would ‘steal’ from Big Pharma/Big Medica.  That fact alone should make proactive and mindful individuals weary since optimal health methods should be something to strive for, or at least discuss, and not something to overlook if not downright suppress, which is what happens more often than not.

This blacklisting is best exemplified by what took place to Dr. Brogan in her landmark book A Mind Of Your Own – The Truth About Depression.

When one keeps in mind the above constellation of facts and more, this book is invaluable and should become part of your library.

Book Review: Food Forensics by Mike Adams

This is the type of book, similar to Dr. Brogan’s A Mind Of Your Own, that the mainstream media won’t touch.  The data provided is too important, too thought-provoking, too paradigm shifting for the mainstream press to get involved, which is why it will take a grassroots effort to get the information out there.  And it will get out there.

Within the alternative media there are many people putting out quality information.  Then, there are others who have raised the bar of credibility and subjects that affect us all.  Mike Adams is one of the latter.

Food Forensics is a veritable discourse into many of the dangers we as individuals face in respect to the many toxins that people expose themselves within their food.  Because of those data points, this is where this book shines.

Adams takes a methodical approach outlining the many dangers involved with the foods that he’s tested in a manner that is sensible, responsible, and credible.

All the information provided might seem shocking to some, but unfortunately this is definitely ‘par for the course’ given the relentless onslaught of toxins we face in our daily lives from establishment corporations et al.

Throughout each page, the reader can certainly follow the concern that Adams has for the noxious substances some people are exposing themselves too.

The book is laid out in a pretty straight forward no-nonsense way.  Adams provides more than ample information that can be digested [no pun intended] by the reader and thoroughly pondered.  It’s really a vital issue  given how many people are being exposed to these deleterious substances.

As individuals, it’s imperative to be proactive and boycott ALL BUSINESSES that that will put their profits over your health.  Not only that, but we need to let others know what’s wrong.  This is too important not to spark fires of curiosity in other individuals.

How the health of our society looks many years from now will be highly dependent on what proactive/inquisitive individuals inform themselves about.  Books such as this make it possible not only to harpoon core issues that affect all of us, but also sets the template for how to live an inherently healthier life.

Book Review: Phantom Self by David Icke

David Icke is surely a controversial speaker.

Icke’s work has come to be known as fascinating as it is wide-ranging, and for good reason.   The man will leave no stone unturned.  He’s not afraid of heading into places other people can’t even fathom, and many have come to appreciate this.

In Phantom Self, David Icke does a resounding job of not only showing various methods the system employs to carve out the consciousness from individuals, but he also shows the numerous facets the system has that play a role in making this process possible.

Throughout the book, Icke makes it a point from differentiating that we have two selves, the more superficial version of us that goes through life unaware of the deeper structure of life and reality, and the deeper level of conscious awareness that holds our unending potential, which is rarely tapped by individual.

Phantom Self showcases some of the previous information that Icke has shown, with good reason.  Much of this information is just as vital now, if not more so, as it was in the past.  And things have only gotten worse globally.

Readers of his previous work will be familiar with some of it.  Still, the information that Icke provides and how he distills it is vital to understanding how individuals and society will shed its shackles from the control grid as long as they take the appropriate action.

Issues such as education, media manipulation, propaganda, technology, genetically modified foods, bloodlines, depopulation/eugenics, Agenda 21/Agenda 2030, weather modification, et al are addressed quite extensively throughout.  The push for a transhumanistic future is also saliently detailed by the author.

As an avid researcher, my one qualm with the book is that Icke doesn’t source all of his statements.  He does provide quite a few sources, but a lot of the information that he writes as ‘matter of fact’ would be much stronger if he at least buttressed those statements with how he came to those conclusions.  There’s nothing wrong with giving your opinions about a matter, and they surely might be facts mind you, however, in order for some people to visualize the extent of control and corruption they will need to see a roadmap.  A roadmap is made up of those signposts, and those signposts in research are sources.

Be that as it may, that last fact doesn’t detract from the book.  Phanton Self provides more than ample information for it to be worth one’s money.

How icke chose to conclude the book resonates quite well, and certainly makes a lot of sense.

Its through individual self awareness and realization of our deeper conscious state that we as individuals will be able to see that we are the solution to the system.

Aggression will not be the solution to overturning the system.  In fact, the opposite is the case.  The system is ready for aggression in more ways than most realize.  Once we realize the depth of the power of our true selves – the power of the love for another – we will be able to detach ourselves from the meaningless and head on a new path.

The system will be changed only by people removing their support from it in every way shape or form.  Then, and only then will we be able to birth a new process and reign in the beginnings on the morrow.

As Ghandi once said:

“You assist an evil system most effectively by obeying its orders and decrees.  An evil system never deserves such allegiance.  Allegiance to it means partaking of this evil.  A good person will resist an evil system with his or her own soul.”

Soda Off the Menu for Kids at Applebee’s, IHOP, and Others

Parents have it a little easier when dining out these days: Applebee’s has decided to remove soda from the children’s menu, with IHOP following suit. Children and parents can still request their favorite bubbly beverage, but it simply won’t appear on the menu. [1]

Tom Linafelt, of Dine Equity (which owns both companies) was quoted as saying, “While soft drinks are still available by request, we believe this is a small step in assisting parents when dining out, as parents are in the best position to determine the appropriate food and beverage choices for their children.”

IHOP and Applebee’s are following suit of other popular eateries, such as McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger King who have also removed soda from their children’s menu. They hope the change will make it easier for parents to negotiate with children to pick healthier options if they are limited to what is available to them on the menu. [2]

Currently, 1 in 5 children are categorized as obese, and 1 in 3 are overweight. The Center for Disease Control reports that the number of obese adolescents has quadrupled in the past 30 years due to ever-increasing caloric meals and sedentary lifestyles. About 70% of obese children under the age of 18 are at risk for cardiovascular disease and even suffer from high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Obesity in childhood is linked to obesity in adulthood, as well as many different types of cancers.

Breaking – Campbells Moves To Label Their GMO Products / Questions Still Loom

In a stunning development, Campbell Soup is breaking rank with all other companies which do not label genetically modified ingredients in their products.

Following the recent victory in Vermont that requires genetically modified organism [GMO] labeling within the state, the company has begun taking action towards this new reality.

Where all this could be headed, the following article below by the New York Times elucidates:

Most interesting shown within the article:

Campbell is also breaking with its peers by calling for federal action to make mandatory a uniform labeling system of foods that contain such ingredients, commonly known as G. M.O. labeling, said Denise Morrison, chief executive of Campbell.

“We’re optimistic that a federal solution can be reached in a reasonable amount of time, but if that’s not the case, we’re preparing to label all our products across the portfolio,” Ms. Morrison said in an interview.

She said about three-quarters of the company’s products contained ingredients derived from corn, canola, soybeans or sugar beets, the four largest genetically engineered crops. The change in labeling is expected to take 12 to 18 months.

The first example provided by the company, for a SpaghettiO’s label prepared for Vermont, is sparsely worded and does not specify which individual ingredients are genetically altered. It simply states at the bottom of the label: “Partially produced with genetic engineering. For more information about G.M.O. ingredients, visit WhatsinMyFood.com.” [Bold and underline emphasis added].

Whilst the opening statement should send a shot across the entire corporate food sector, the main point should be that there is an incredible lack of specificity of GMO labeling for a company claiming it wants a ‘mandatory uniform labeling system’.

What are we to take of this?

Is Campbell’s Soup attempting to make a politically corporately correct move by asking for what it knows is coming, but doing so in such a manner [keep in mind, they are not being specific about which items are being genetically modified] that ameliorates the amount of waves being caused by showing that they haven’t fully converted their products to precise GMO labels?

Another notable point of the article was put forth by Mr. Vilsack, who is the agriculture secretary. Please keep in mind, as Jon Rappoport of NoMoreFakenews.com has reported before, Tom Vilsack is one “of Monsanto’s most influential political allies in the world”:

“I’m going to challenge them to get this thing fixed,” Mr. Vilsack told The Register, adding that he was worried about “chaos in the market” if other states follow suit. “That will cost the industry a substantial amount of money, hundreds of millions of dollars, if not more, and it will ultimately end up costing the consumer,” he said.

The ultimate cost individuals eating GMOs would pay via their health, would be far more than what the financial increase to them will be. As penned by Christina Sarich, of NaturalSociety.com, this is a great reason why “over 60 countries have already passed mandatory GMO labeling laws”, with many countries such as Russia choosing an outright ban:

As Sarich implores trenchantly in the article:

“So are we really supposed to believe that genetically engineered crops are safe and that the average consumer in America who is practically begging for organic food is simply over-reacting, or are we to correctly assume that the United States has been bought by biotech?”

An excellent synopsis of the current issues regarding the abstruse, but rather overarching aspects of the GMO issues is covered by F. William Engdahl:

“Genetic Manipulation Of Organisms: Legal Victory in “Paris vs. Monsanto GMO Cabal”

As stated by Engdahl:

The entire field of so-called biotechnology is corrupt and rotten to its very unscientific, reductivist core. That should not surprise as it was created deliberately by America’s leading eugenics family and funded by their Rockefeller Foundation to advance their mad eugenics agenda at the very same time the Rockefeller Foundation was funding the Nazi eugenics research at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute in Berlin.

Within Engdahl’s analysis he also mentions what should be shocking to most, which is the fact that the Seralini study:

was the first-ever long-term rat study documenting the effects of a GMO diet in the entire twenty years’ history of commercial GMO. The results were bone-chilling.” [Bold Emphasis added].

Couple this with what investigative reporter Jon Rappoport mentions in:

Anti-GMO movement’s PR agency represent’s who??

The FDA is the criminal agency that allowed GMO crops through the door, to begin with, in 1996, by saying, based on zero research, that GMO and non-GMO crops were identical.”

Given the fact that Big Biotech has never really show any credible evidence of GMO safety in intergenerational studies, and more, should they even be trusted?

While the above news brought about by the NYT seems positive and ultimately, could be, we must remain concerned in the fact that there is still myriad issues not being addressed.

Why has Campbell Soup asked for a ‘mandatory uniform labeling system’ and then in the same breath, mention that they lack specificity in their products? It’s not like they didn’t know the labeling in Vermont was coming. If they were truly turning over a new leaf, those labels would be on the products already.

Detaching to gaze at the larger picture, why is Tom Vilsack even trusted as the secretary of agriculture, knowing he has extensive ties to Monsanto?

And finally, although over 92% of Americans polled are for GMO labeling, the better question is, why label the GMOs, when you can just ban them? Why allow ‘food’ that’s never been proven safe to be part of the food suply, especially when it has been supported by the surreptitious machinations of big biotech the whole way through?

One way or another, what Campbell Soup has carried out will show its true colors, sooner or later.

For the time being, be very skeptical, because for every new data point that arises, there are many that have are not being addressed except by a handful of people. And those questions, are ultimately where the darker side of GMOs lie.
